Welcome to InterTech Science Park
The InterTech is an urban science and technology park supporting new venture business development for life science, information technology, digital media, and chemical, environmental and energy-related companies. In 2006, the InterTech was recognized by the Southern Growth Policies Board with their Innovator of the Year Award in Innovation and Technology. Located in Shreveport, Louisiana, InterTech is a division of the Biomedical Research Foundation. The site for the Park was designated in an inner-city location in central Shreveport. The 800 acre triangle is bounded by I-20 and I-49 and located between three major medical centers (LSU Health Shreveport, CHRISTUS Schumpert Health System, and Willis-Knighton Health System).
BRF
BRF is an economic development organization establishing North Louisiana as a preferred destination for high-growth initiatives. Diversifying and growing the region’s economy is its mission. It fulfills this mission through initiatives that recruit new businesses to the region and support community, regional and national needs in health and medicine, resources for entrepreneurs and the development of a science and technology-based workforce.
CMIT
The Center for Molecular Imaging and Therapy, formerly the PET Imaging Center, was established as the first positron emission tomography imaging center in Louisiana. It specializes in the production and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals, technologically advanced clinical trials and research opportunities for scientists.
